I have had some difficulties downloading games of interest. Some of them (Real Lives 2010) require the user to purchase them and others just don't seem to download on this computer.

You are right, not all games are free, in some cases you have to download them, in others, they have online access. Some of the downloadable games can be purchased on CD or from a site.
Anyway, there are a lot of free offers, and that in itself should not be a problem. Of course, feel free to add your own games or look for better games for your class.
