This is a side note. I have reviewed the answers to the Quiz on Essential questions. Because I had to use the quiz module, it's not flexible enough to provide other options, I guess I could have done a third button, ("could be both"), but I wanted to force you to pick one or the other. I did leave an invitation open for those who disagreed with my picks to comment on their choices. The questions below seem to be the most divisive.
How are we like animals? Is it essential or factual?
What is poverty? Is it essential or factual?
Would our town benefit from a curfew?
Truth is, a simple yes or no question may not be so simple if you look more closely. And sometimes, quite the contrary happens, when you feel that by structure the question or by topic the question has to be essential the answer may be factual.
