What makes a good player and a good game?

A good player stays focused and tries his/her best. S/he takes turns and plays honestly.
A good game has clear directions and quick feedback.

Players in my classroom are successful when they are prepared for the activity and can understand what they are being asked to do.

Preparing our students to do any task is huge. This allows us to make sure they understand the directions and what we expect for them to gain by playing the game (if anything).

I agree that the following the rules and playing honestly is an important part of the game. It encourages people to play again.
