End of Year Checklist

1) Close Grades
a) Use the Missing Grades Report to ensure all final grades have been given
b) Use the Grades Verification Report to ensure all final grades are correct
c) Close the Grading Window
d) Print final Report Cards
e) Post to Transcript

2) Close Student Enrollments
a) Ensure all students leaving the District have their Enrollment end-dated with the proper exit code
b) Use the Enrollment End Batch wizard to batch-end all Graduating Seniors with the proper values
c) Use the Enrollment End Batch wizard to batch-end all continuing students with the proper values

3) Send Attendance statistics to the Central Office
a) Use the Attendance Day Count report to scan for any abnormalities
b) Use the ADM-ADA Detail Report to produce Attendance Statistics Reports

4) Update Staff (Larry will do this - send him lists)
a) End-Date all staff who will not be returning to your building
b) End IC Privileges for all staff who will not be returning to RSU1
c) Add all staff who will be new to your building and set their roles
d) Add IC Privileges for all staff who will be new to your building
e) Change roles for all staff who are continuing in your building but are changing roles
e) Change IC Privileges for all staff who are continuing in your building but are changing roles

5) Set up 09-10 Calendar (Larry will do this)
a) Create a 09-10 Calendar for your building
b) Double-check all Calendar settings and adjust for any changes
c) Verify Schedule Structure
d) Verify Terms
e) Verify Periods
f) Set Days

6) Promote Students to new Calendar (Larry will do this, let him know when you are finished 1, 2, and 3)
a) Use the Enrollment Roll Forward wizard to copy students to new calendar
b) Set Active Year to the new school year
c) Update Calendar Groups to reflect the new year

7) Set up Schedules and Rosters
a) Use the Scheduling module tools to make any course/section changes necessary
b) Use the Scheduling module tools to add students to Rosters

8) Add new students and clean up Census
a) As new students register, collect ALL information necessary from families to create households, addresses, relationships, and members. Add all family members to Campus including younger siblings not yet school age (for planning purposes). Clean up any/all Census problems and duplications as you find them.
