No matter what email program you use, the best and easiest way to send info via email is to simply paste it into the body of the message. That way you do not have to worry about what kind of computer or which programs the recipient owns. If they can read email, they'll get the message. Unfortunately, this only works for text, and is only useful when you do not care how it is formatted.

When sending info for which the "look and feel" is important, use PDF format. PDF format is universal, anybody can open it, and you are guaranteed they will see it exactly as you see it regardless of what kind of computer or which programs they own. They simply have to know how to save and open the attachment.

If using a Mac, when you choose File->Print from any program there is always a "PDF" button in the lower corner. Use this to make an attachable PDF file instead of a paper print. You will be prompted to enter a file name and choose a place to save it. When complete, you can open the resulting PDF document to confirm it looks exactly right, then attach and send it.

For Windows there is a nice little FREE utility called "Cute PDF Writer" here:

Once installed, this allows you to do the same thing in Windows that Mac's do. From any program choose File->Print, then choose "CutePDF" as the printer. Instead of printing to paper it will ask you for a file name and a place to save. Name it, save it, and you now have an attachable, emailable PDF file that looks exactly like the paper copy you would have sent home.
