WORLD HISTORY FILM PROJECT -- Part 3 -- CLASS PRESENTATION

Task 3: Prepare a power point presentation (or a standard presentation or video presentation), presenting the results of task 2 (5 to 10 minute presentation).

The presentation will summarize your research paper:

* introduction: A summary of how the film depicts the event(s) which is(are) the subject(s) of the film and which are presented in the film [a minimum of one photo from the film, film trailer, or film clip].

main body of the presentation: Areas in which the film and your research present conflicting views/perspectives, as well as the areas in which the views match. You need not discuss all 8 points addressed in the paper. You will present a minimum of one photo for each point you discuss, and will discuss the accuracy of each of the movie events, based upon your historical research.

Conclusion: Your overall analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the film in conveying accurately and fully the researched event(s), again with a minimum of one photo.

Class presentations will be made Wednesday May 14 (100 points on the 4th quarter grade, to go along with the 100 points on the 4th quarter grade for the research paper)

SUGGESTIONS:

* First decide how you want to present the material. It can be presented any way you choose. I strongly recommend, but do not require, a technology-based presentation.

*
If you wish to attach a trailer/film clip off the internet, the easiest method is to present using GOOGLE DOCS. Simply access Google Docs, and click on "presentation" and follow the directions.

*
Remember to save, if you create a technology presentation.
