Reaction drawing: "Grapes of Wrath"
The "Grapes of Wrath" portrays three federal government programs from the 1st New Deal (1933) that were designed to help people at the depths of the Depression. These three are:
(a) legalizing strikes for unions;
(b) government camps for the homeless; and
(c) government jobs for the unemployed.
Pick at least one of these three programs and draw a scene from the film depicting the program in action (use a variety of colors for extra credit).
The grade is NOT based on artistic talent, but on the historical accuracy of the finished product.
