As you watch "Confessions of a Hitler Youth", make note of the various types of propaganda used by the NAZIs to "brainwash" young Germans. Write an essay describing from the film an example of EMOTIONAL PROPAGANDA; a second example  of EDUCATIONAL PROPAGANDA; and a third example of PERSUASIVE PROPAGANDA. Use the handout with the definitions of the three types to help you and include in your answers with the examples an explanation of why you felt each category fits the examples cited by you.Finally, discuss what in the film had the most effect on you -- surprising you and/or shocking you -- about the role of the Hitler Youth in Germany under Hitler.
